Start with the filmmaker
Director credits offer a clear way into the list. Ava DuVernay directs and produces 14th, while Rory Kennedy directs and produces Freefall: A Reckoning for Boeing.
Other entries are tied to filmmakers including Sue Kim, Michelle Mama, Marlene Edoyan and Lukas Augustin.
Compare countries
The films have different national connections. A Fire There is Canadian, Antidiva: The Carole Pope Confessions is Canadian, and Aisha is a Maldivian documentary produced and released by Adhadhu.
Country can help narrow a programme when a regional perspective matters.
Choose a stated subject
Some entries identify their subject directly. Always Lalisa features Thai rapper and singer Lisa, while Antidiva: The Carole Pope Confessions centres on Carole Pope in its title.
Titles such as Freefall: A Reckoning for Boeing also signal their areas of interest.
Check the release description
Most entries here carry 2026 dates. 14th is described as an upcoming American documentary, while André Is an Idiot is described as a 2025 film by Tony Benna with a 2026 entry year.
That distinction matters when planning a screening or following a forthcoming film.
