Arbër Hajdari, a law student in Albania, was shocked by the poverty around him and decided to take action. In just five years, he has helped thousands of families escape hardship through his humanitarian organization Fundjavë Ndryshe. As of today, around 12,000 volunteers work for the group, with the Albanian government even providing a former tank base for their headquarters.
The heart of Fundjavë Ndryshe is their main telephone exchange, where people in extreme suffering call for help. This documentary follows Arbër as he prioritizes cases, including that of Idvana and her daughter, who are forced to live in a cow shed infested with rats and snakes. While Arbër has already helped thousands, there is still much work to be done as around 40% of Albanians live on less than five euros per day. Join us for a touching and inspiring look at the incredible work of one man and the organization he created to make a difference.
