This documentary takes a look at the 50 greatest shocks in the history of the World Cup. Richard Bacon and Peter Crouch take a witty take on these incidents, which include the famous and surprising Zinedine Zidane’s head-butt in the 2006 final and England’s penalty pain, Maradona’s Hand of God, etc.
The documentary also includes anecdotes straight from the horse’s mouth, i.e., the people who were involved in those events such as David Seaman, who got lobbed by Ronaldinho; John Barnes, who revealed how Gazza rapped on World in Motion; and Graham Poll, who got unfortunately infamous because of his ‘three yellow cards’ moment.
