About 71% of the Earth’s surface is water-covered. Oceans hold about 96% of all Earth’s water. Water also exists in the air as water vapor, but also in lakes, rivers, glaciers, in the ground as soil moisture, and everywhere around us.
They say that the human body can withstand without food for a week or two, but no more than 48 hours without water.
Simply put, water is one of the most important things in our life. Transparent, and nearly colorless chemical substance, water is essential to our well-being.
