The Corona virus is the number one topic worldwide at the moment. And lately, there are a lot of people sharing information that Bill Gates warned us about what would happen.
This is the TED talk on which he talked about how ready, or unready we are for the next virus outbreak.
Back in 2014, we avoided a global outbreak of Ebola, thanks to thousands of selfless health workers. And we had some luck.
Then, Bill Gates suggested that we should all put our good ideas into practice. He suggested scenario planning and vaccine research, as well as health worker training.
He then said “There’s no need to panic, but we need to get going”. We should have probably listened to him at the time.
