When it comes to controversy and the Christian church, nothing beats the Illuminati, a secret order with its own rituals, myths, mysteries and tradition. However, there might be one controversy that can draw as much attention among Christians and believers as much as the Illuminati, and that is the myth of the “Mark of the Beast”.
Immortalized in the Revelation 13:16-17, where the Bible writes ““He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the Beast”.
Many Christians and Catholics for that matter believe that the Mark of the Beast is actually the Antichrist, the wicked ruler who will come out on to the scene and rule the world. It will be time when Christ will come back to Earth in order to again save the world from the Antichrist.
And what is most interesting is that the Mark of the Beast theory is a modern one, linked closely to the surveillance system with the convenient number 666.
When will that time comes, nobody knows. But that doesn’t mean there will not be speculation, controversies and mysteries. One thing is certain, when the time comes, the Mark of the Beast will change the world as we know it today. As the controversy goes, people will have to accept the authority and supremacy of the Beast, and receive its mark of approval. There will be no difference between rich, poor, free, slaves small and great people, everybody will be equal before the Beast.
