Shaq had one of the greatest sports career any athlete ever had. This documentary shows the story of one of the biggest superstars in basketball, Shaquille O’Neal.
He was born in Newark, NJ, and since his early days, this basketball star had an impressive college and professional career. Featuring some rare footage, the documentary follows O’Neal into the world of music, television, movie, and basketball.
Everything started in a high school in San Antonio, continued with his outstanding college performance at Louisiana State University, and then his professional career in the NBA.
In addition to being a great basketball player, Shaq left his mark with movie roles, commercials, television performances, and much more. He earned a new nickname in every city he moved, and in every role he played. There is a reason why he is considered larger than life, and more than just a basketball player.
As for his basketball career, he was the first overall pick in the 1992 draft, played for 20 seasons, averaged more than 23 points for his career, more than 10 rebounds, and won four titles. He won 3 Finals MVP awards, one regular NBA season award, and he is one of five players with 15 All Star appearances (the others being Kobe, Garnet, Duncan, and Kareem).
In total Shaq played for six teams: Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics.
