The Vikings were among the fiercest warriors of all time. However, not all of them got the privilege to carry the ultimate weapon, the Ulfberht sword. Called the Viking sword, it was a single-handed sword with a wide fuller down the length of the blade.
When people think of Vikings, they think of barbaric race. But the fact of the matter is that Vikings were ahead of their time in so many different ways. For example, while they used dragon blood for cooling, they were advanced in so many other ways.
As for the Viking sword, while it is popularly called that, the sword was actually produced in the Frankish Empire during the Carolingian era.
