There will always be kind and caring people. We care about cats and dogs on a daily basis. At least some of us. There are also people that walk by abandoned animals and do nothing.
And then there are people like Glen Venezio. He lives in Puerto Rico, and is known as the Catman. He takes care of more than 250 cats and some dogs in his neighborhood.
He is from New Jersey in New York, but has been living in Puerto Rico since 2006. Shortly after his arrival in Puerto Rico, he began doing his part in aiding cats and dogs. According to some estimates, there are more than 1 million dogs and cats on the streets of Puerto Rico. And rarely some people take care of them.
But Glen is the one who is trying to make a difference by inspiring others. He takes care for the animals, but also works to spay and neuter them. He assists the police with cruelty cases and much more. This is his story.
