When you think of poverty, you think of third-world countries in Africa. Like Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and similar countries where people work for cents per hour.
But poverty is a worldwide issue. And you will be surprised to know that there are many children living in poverty in the United Kingdom. In fact, more than 3.5 million children in the UK are growing up in poverty.
That is one of the worst rates in the industrialized world. Government after government has struggled to deal with the issue. They simply cannot bring it into line.
This documentary tries to shed more light on the pressing issue, and raise awareness so that people can do something about it.
