Out of Shadows is an eye-opening documentary that seeks to expose the truth behind the mainstream media and Hollywood. By lifting the mask on how these influential institutions manipulate and control mass opinion through propaganda, this film has already made a big impact with its release on YouTube in April 2020. In its first 24 hours, Out of Shadows gained over a million views, with numbers now totaling over thirteen million – it’s clear that viewers are taking notice.
We hear firsthand accounts from Hollywood stunt actor Mike Smith who speaks on his experience working ‘on the inside’. His message is clear: to “wake up the general public by shedding light on how we all have been lied to and brainwashed by a hidden enemy with a sinister agenda”. Throughout the film, some startling claims are made concerning topics such as cannibalism-themed Hollywood dinners, trafficking of children in Hollywood, and child abuse as entertainment during Hollywood events.
Although such claims may seem far-fetched at first glance, there is evidence that suggests otherwise. Leaked emails between Sony Pictures executives and government officials were revealed in 2015. More recently, Harvey Weinstein was exposed for being a large contributor to Hilary Clinton’s Presidential campaign – casting doubt on the neutrality of major power players in the industry. Moreover, many villains in films can be traced back from Russia to Germany – leading viewers to question whether America is really being shown as the main antagonist?
However, one slight disappointment with Out of Shadows is its attitude towards doing research for oneself – which may not always be feasible given financial or legal constraints. Despite this detail however, it cannot be denied that everything might not always be what it seems – making this documentary well worth watching for any curious mind out there looking for answers!
