You can say that Muniba Mazari turns adversity into opportunity. She is called the Pakistan’s Iron Lady. She can tell you why failure is an option, but giving up is not an option.
A Pakistani artist, model, activist, television host, and motivational speaker, Muniba was married at 18, had a car accident at 21 in which she hurt her legs, and uses a wheelchair ever since.
If the premise “you are stronger than people think” was true, that is for Muniba Mazari. She is a role model for so many women out there. The way she handled herself after the car accident is amazing.
Mazari serves as the National Ambassador for UN Women Pakistan and has participated as a motivational speaker at various conferences and forums. She is currently 30 years old, and she has no intention of stopping.
In 2015, Muniba was chosen as one of the BBC’s 100 most inspirational women. She also works as an occasional anchor at PTV, being the TV’s first wheelchair-using anchor. And this is her story.
