Cho committed suicide after law enforcement officers breached the doors of the building where dead and wounded had most of its victims.
Cho came to the U.S. at an early age with his family. He had a severe form of anxiety disorder called selective mutism in middle school and depression.
Over the past two years at Virginia Tech Cho, several cases of aberrant behaviors, as well as plays and other written submissions contained references to violence, and has caused concern among teachers and peers.
