Lions are often considered the King of the Jungle. But that title is little misleading, since lions do not actually live in jungles. Their habitat are usually savannahs, rocky hills, grasslands, scrubland, but not jungles.

Lions are apex predators and they sit at the top of their habitats food chain. While hyenas and wild dogs can sometimes eat lion cubs, no animal hunts mature lions.
