This documentary tells such a story. The documentary follows the story of James Davis, a devoted husband. He had to go through a legal battle in order to fulfill his wife’s dying wish.
His wife wanted to be buried in their front yard. Both of them first thought about being cremated. But in the end, his wife decided that she wants to be buried at home, in her yard.
You would think that is a simple wish that can easily be fulfilled. But it is not as simple as you think.
Patsy Rush married James Davis on February 28, 1943. She died on April 18, 2009. They were together for so many years, and James rightfully says “there is a part missing from your life”.
But after a long legal battle, he has his wife close to him. This is his story how he managed to get it done.
