Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, is a member of the British royal family as the wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, heir apparent to the British throne. Despite being entitled to be known as the Princess of Wales, she uses the title Duchess of Cornwall.
She and Charles got married in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall on April 9, 2005. The majority of royal biographers agree that even if the two wanted to marry before or did try to get approval, that would have been declined.
Charles was previously married to Princess Diana before getting married to Camilla. When she married Charles, she brought some French blood to the British royal family.
Camilla waited for more than 30 years to become his wife, but her patience was rewarded finally. This documentary follows her majestic makeover and unique transformation from soldier’s wife to royal mistress to royal consort.
