Amidst a battle line that has pitted Israeli-Palestinian neighbors against each other, there are people who have chosen love over hate. Despite living in the shadow of death and having lost friends, family, and property, they are forging friendships across hostile borders.
These are not normal friendships. They span a fence that separates the border towns of Sderot and Gaza. Even though their respective governments have forbidden them to meet, they remain undaunted, communicating by phone and social media, they have organized events and rallies, putting their lives on the line to bring people together.
