On the morning of 22 March 2016, three coordinated suicide bombings occurred in Belgium. Two of them came at the Brussels airport in Zaventem, and one at the Maalbeek metro station.
The attack resulted in 32 civilian casualties and three perpetrators getting killed. More than 300 people got injured in the attacks.
One week later, the Belgian security forces released the only man arrested and charged with involvement in the bombings.
The documentary takes a look at the investigation of the attacks. It also shows a clear connection between attacks and criminal networks from Iraq and Syria coming to Belgium.
