Gray is a ‘bush taxi’ driver living in poverty-stricken Malawi, a country where public transport is almost non-existent. With the rainy season right around the corner, Gray knows the already remote provinces will be cut off, leaving many stranded. To do his part, Gray offers his small truck as a means of transportation for those in need.
But the journey ahead is full of obstacles. Passengers must endure a bumpy ride in the back of the truck and even sleep in a game reserve surrounded by lions and elephants.
Meanwhile, in Malawi, a sick child presents a difficult decision for parents. They must choose between walking 40km to the nearest free health clinic, which often lacks even basic resources, or leaving their child in the care of the spirit of ‘Vimbuzu.’
Join Gray as he navigates the treacherous terrain of Malawi during the rainy season. Watch the documentary to experience the remarkable journey of Gray and his passengers firsthand.
