For a decade, Amanda Berry, Georgina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight were thought to be dead after they were kidnapped from the same area in Cleveland, Ohio. In May 2013 however, an extraordinary event unfolded when the trio were miraculously found alive; one of them accompanied with a six-year old daughter.
The man responsible for this ordeal is Ariel Castro, who has been charged with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape and faces the possibility of capital punishment if prosecutors can prove he caused his victims to miscarry their unborn babies.
