In a forgotten corner of the world, thousands of women were raped during the war in Yugoslavia. Many became pregnant and gave birth to children who were never recognized as victims of war. They are known as “invisible children”, marginalized and stigmatized by society.
Ajna Jusić, daughter of a woman who was raped by an enemy soldier, discovered her mother’s secret after many years. But she was not alone. Through her organization “Forgotten Children of War”, Ajna is determined to give these “invisible children” a voice and the recognition they deserve. The documentary dives into the dark and hopeful journey of Ajna and the “invisible children”, as they strive to hold the Bosnian government accountable for turning a blind eye to their suffering.
