Solar energy is any type of energy generated by the sun. It is created by nuclear fusion that takes place in the sun. Fusion occurs when protons of hydrogen atoms violently collide in the sun’s core and fuse to create a helium atom.
Solar power works by converting energy from the sun into power. There are two forms of energy generated from the sun for our use, electricity and heat. Both are generated through the use of solar panels.
There are many advantages of using sun energy. Among them, it is a renewable energy source, reduces electricity bills, diverse applications, low maintenance costs, and technology development.
With that in mind, this documentary takes a look at some unique ways of using solar energy.
