A Stray Hero

55 year old, former contractor, Mohammad Azmi, has dedicated his life to helping stray dogs and cats in a country where dogs are seen as unclean and taboo to touch. Despite the culture around him telling him that what he is doing is wrong, Mohammad (also known as Pak Mie), spends his life savings helping these animals by giving them shelter, food and medication. This means he himself has to live a simple life, fully dedicated to the animals. This means they have to sleep in a car parked outside of their new shelter to make sure the animals are safe.
